Fruit Christmas Tree
Talk about merry and bright.
Fruit christmas tree. I found it best to place the bigger fruits first strawberries orange slices kiwis etc. You can stick 2 pieces of fruit on one toothpick. In keeping with all things edible this fruit christmas tree is completely covered in fruits. To give the fruit christmas tree some more christmas cheer we cut some stars out of melon slices.
Then fill in the gaps with small fruit like grapes and blackberries. Place the styrofoam cone on a plate and insert toothpicks into the cone and then stick pieces of fruit onto the toothpicks. If you wish you can also cut out a variety of shapes from the flesh of melons for decorating the rest of the tree. Peel and cut remainder of fruit into large cubes.
This fruit christmas tree is designed to cope outside of the fridge for up to 4 hours if you need it. Keep going until the tree is completely filled up have fun with it. Apart from all the fruit that you can see what you are going to need is an unpeeled orange sliced at the base and at the top a sturdy plate a carrot and a lot of toothpicks.
